A guided telescope observation with the Pythagoras Planetarium, immersed in the silence of the Calabrian hills—one of the best places in the area to gaze at the sky, far from the light pollution of cities.

01 — The meeting
The meeting point is the Silk Museum, on Via Regina Elena in San Floro—the same place where our tours depart.
It is advisable to arrive 10 minutes early for the 5:30 PM departure.
From here you can reach the hills surrounding Nido di Seta: far from the city lights, the ideal place to observe the sky.
02 — The observation
An amateur astronomer from the Pythagoras Planetarium will guide you through observing the night sky with a professional telescope, describing what can be seen among the stars above San Floro.
The evening has no fixed duration: it continues based on observation conditions, so as not to rush a moment that deserves time and silence.
In case of bad weather or overcast skies, the evening will still take place: only the telescope observation will be cancelled.
03 — The aperitif
The evening includes an aperitif featuring local products: an appetizer featuring fresh garden produce and local produce, a traditional first course, Calabrian drinks, and a Moretto Spritz.
We recommend comfortable clothing and a jacket: after sunset, even in summer, the hills cool down.
